Our magnesium Flakes are sourced from the Ancient Zechstein Sea in Northern Europe. 

Roughly 250 million years ago the Ancient Zechstein Sea exsisted as a highly concentrated inland salt water sea, with many of the characteristics of the Dead Sea today. Due to the fact that the Zechstein Sea was active millions of years prior to the industrial revolution, the mineral and salt deposits left behind deep within the earth's crust, are 100% pure and untouched by modern day contaminates and polutants. 

The magnesium chloride extracted from the Zechstein Sea beds today, is as pure as the day it was formed, millions of years ago.
