Why low voltage? Australian electrical safety regulations introduced on 31 January 2020 require all salt lamps to run on 24V or under. Both our 12V and 24V systems are safe, compliant, and warm enough to activate the salt's natural benefits.

Please note: every piece is hand carved from natural Himalayan salt, so size, shape and colour vary. That is what makes your lamp one of a kind.

To extend the life of your globe, make sure it is screwed firmly into the fitting and does not move around inside the lamp. Salt lamps are designed to stay on around the clock; switching them on and off shortens globe life, as do power surges.

Ornament only option: choose Ornament only in the buying options to receive this piece on its base with no cord or globe. It is the same Himalayan salt piece, sold for display, and a 12V or 24V cord and globe can be added later.
