This stunning Himalayan Salt Lamp is styled like a wooden basket, with vertical carved slats forming a “clawed” look that holds chunky Himalayan salt rocks like a glowing ember nest. It’s warm, textural, and a beautiful mix of raw earth and refined craft.

Safety and compliance:
As of 31 January 2020, all salt lamps sold in Australia must operate at 24V or below to meet updated electrical safety regulations. We’ve chosen to use 24V because it offers the ideal balance—safe, compliant, and warm enough to activate the salt’s natural properties. Lower voltages just don’t generate enough heat for that iconic salt lamp glow.

Please note:
Every fire basket is hand-assembled with natural salt chunks, so colour, shape, and layout will vary. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, with natural grain in the wooden slats and a warm, inviting feel.

Globe care tips:
These specially designed globes are a perfect match for salt and selenite lamps, but they’re more delicate than your everyday bulb.
To help them last longer:

• Screw in the globe firmly

• Don’t move the lamp while it’s turned on

• Keep it running 24/7 if possible

• Use a surge protector to prevent damage from electrical fluctuations

Turning the lamp on and off frequently can shorten the life of the globe. With proper care, your fire basket will glow gently for months.
