Cut from hand mined pristine pink Himalayan salt this slab conducts heat beautifully and delicately imparts a wonderful depth of flavour. Heat over the grill on your bbq, in the oven or on your stove top for cooking fish, prawns, steak or even eggs! Over time the Sushi wushi plate will reduce in size. when it becomes too small to cook on simply grate over food or into the tub for a detoxifying salt bath. Naturally anti-microbial and easy to clean.
How To Use:
A Secret Squirrel Himalayan Salt Plate will retain heat or cold for at least 20 minutes. To heat the salt plate, starton a low heat for about 15 minutes. To cook, it is best to have the salt plate hot enough for meat to sizzle.
If you are using your stove top you will need to raise the salt plate so that it does not come in direct contact with the heating element.
Wet food transfers more salt tast to your food.
You can heat a 2 inch thick piece of salt safely to 900 degrees celcuis.
